Although both of them are Water and Dragon type, Kingdra has more SP ATK than Gyarados.
(Sorry, but my computer can't support Pokemon Diamond and Pearl version so mine are only Emerald version)

Gyradose can learn some awesome attacks, idk about kigdra, my Gyradose knows Thunder, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Surf

They're good moves. I wish Gyrados could learn Fly!

the developers were like "lets screw with the gamers, lets make one Pokemon who is a flying type......but he can learn fly, buahahahahahaha"
